The Namiki brand enjoys one of the highest reputations of all fountain pen makers. Proudly bearing the surname of the Pilot Pen Corporation, the brand was specifically created by Ryosuke Namiki to bring together traditional Japanese penmaking with exquisite  Japanese artistic techniques.

This Namiki pen was made by hand in Japan, by a small number of master craftsmen (the Kokkokai) , using the traditional Maki-e technique. Adorning the body is a depiction of a crane and a turtle, two Japanese symbols for timelessness, age and wisdom. The pen has a 14k gold nib in size #10, in a Japanese Fine. It is filled either using Namiki or Pilot Cartridges, or using the included converter. 

Namiki supply their pens presented in a beautiful, wooden presentation box, together with a bottle of their finest, black ink. Given their nature as works of art, Namiki pens come with a lifetime warranty.
