Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Calligraphy Curved Nib Fountain Pen

Introduced in 1924, the Montblanc 149 collection of flagship pens are the largest writing instruments created by Montblanc. With a name that means “Masterpiece”, the Meisterstuck has become the symbol for high-quality, luxury writing.

The barrel and cap of this pen are crafted in a high-quality, black precious resin which is further accented through the use of the gold-coated trims and clip which features the pens own individual serial number. Crowning the top of the cap is the inlaid iconic white Montblanc emblem.

Completing this pens design is the hand-crafted, 18K solid gold curved nib which is further garnished with three delicate parallel lines. A symbol being inspired by calligraphy movements. The curved nib allows for a variety of writing styles as well as line widths, depending on both the angle and orientation at which the writing instrument is held.

This pen features a built-in piston-filling mechanism. Allowing the pen to use any type of bottled ink that the user wishes to write with, whilst the small ink viewing section near the nib of the pen allows the user to easily see when ink levels are becoming low.
