Pelikan's 2022 M205 Special Edition ballpoint pen is inspired by the mineral Apatite. Named by a German geologist (Abraham Gottlob Werner in 1786). The mineral this pen is named after is often mistaken for other minerals which is refelcted in Apatite's' name which derives from the Greed word (apatao) meaning to deceive.
